Default need tires

what do u guys think i should get for tires? id like to get a set of rears on sum different rims. goin to new york in a few months to a track rental. i have mps 295's on the back now. maybe sum nitto's or somethin else out back?? can i drive with nitto's on the back and leave the mps on the front?

If you are talking drag radials only, I prefer BFG Drag radials. You can drive on drag radials when they are new. The don't have the best wet traction as you wear them they get worse.

If you are looking for a decent traction street tire, I hear good things about Michelin Pilots.

I agree with REDGAR on the DR's. I have been driving all summner on my BFG TA DR's. About 1000 miles on them and no issues, except you need to take it easy in the wet. I looked at Nitto's but the BFG's were cheaper by 45 dollars (each)...

Best time so far in the 60' for me is 1.8 on the BFG's. With Goodyear F1GSD3's my best 60' was 1.94.
