I'm back...

Hey everyone...my cable came back on a little bit ago...been out for 9 days...I got power and telephone back 2 days ago...the eye of the hurricane came right through Deltona, where I live...I have a lot of storm damage to clean up (trees mostly)...one fell on the house but only minor damage...one took down the lines to the house...I lived in a hotel till 2 days ago...the vette came through OK...

I am very thankful to be alive and well...I did hurt my back pretty bad trying to get that damn tree off the house and have to stay in bed 23/24 hours a day at this point...hopefully this will pass soon... I will be out about $3000 when it is all said and done since the insurance deductables are so high...anyway, I'm glad to be back and I won't soon forget what it was like that night...Friday the 13th...

Glad you survived Dan! Bad news on the back though...I take it your not going to be at the race this weekedn? It would be good therapy!!!

Glad you are OK. We were supposed to get hit with some heavy rain that weekend, but it never came.

I was hoping to show up even just to help out but I just can't push it...we'll see...this whole mess is a bit of a setback but won't deter me for too long...
