Due to the high heat the July & August races will be held in the evening. Gates open at 2PM, Qual runs start at 4 I believe. Watch the BMP site for details.
This should ease the heat exhaustion on us and our cars.
Makes it easy to enter the evening footbrake races for some double pleasure as well!!!
Sounds good! I think it's still going to be plenty hot that time of day. I know if it ran any later, the track probably will be very crowded. Hmmm, maybe an afternoon shower will cool things off before the race.

I think that they should have them earlier myself....like gates open at 7AM and qual's by 9AM....out the gate by noon. Then it can rain all afternoon, which it probably will......just my opinion, of course!
Let's see...gates open at 7 AM means I have to leave by 4 AM which means getting up at 3 AM....you have lost your mind shawn...
Dan you just need to get a little Shanty(sp) over in our neck of the woods...say siesta key, or maybe longboat. Then we could all relish the ocean waves while drinking a cold one!
Well - the chance of getting rained out in the afternoon/evening is a lot higher than in the morning.. Don't forget about the typical summer afternoon t-storms...
Well - I won't be able to race anyway this summer .. I expect my car to be finished by October or November.. maybe even later...
No July night for me. Going to Key Largo, Ocean Reef Club. But August looks and the car is running good. So I'll try to screw up the points leaders in August
