Surprisingly Grand Cayman (georgetown) has a street racing scene. Last time I was there, I saw a guy on the street with a CHRA (Caribeann Hot Rod Assoc.) T-shirt and wondered where the hell they would run? Then I saw a write up in one of the ricer mags about their street racing scene. They run on the main island, where Georgetown is, on a back road. There were the usual ricers, plus a couple of hot mustangs, no Corvettes. The only Vettes that I saw on the Island were pretty shabby, one C4 with "Dubs" on it, uugghhh!
If you guys ever get down there try the "Stingray" beer, no kidding! The Stingray they're referring to is, of course, the fish. But it's a surprisingly good micro-brew that comes in several different types. I picked up a "Stingray Beer" T-shirt to wear at the next Corvette event too.
