Prayers Needed: Mike Carr (Mikie C) in a coma :(

I just got a call from one of Mike's friends and this is all we know right now. Mike was suffering from a severe headache last Friday. His wife took him to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Immediate surgery was done on Mike. He is currently in a coma. Let's all band together and pray for Mike.

I don't know Mike. But I am behind anyone you are. The best to Mike. We all hope for a full and fast recovery.

WOW sad news My prayers go out to mike... Hopefully everything will be alright... One of my friends brothers had the same thing and thank GOD they caught it in time.. After surgey they put him into a coma to relieve the pressure on his brain..... Hes fine now......

The fact that they were able to do surgery is a GOOD thing. Now you just have to wait for the pressure & swelling to resolve itself in & around the brain. It may take a while though. My friend's dad was 58 & had an anyuerism which they couldn't operate on. He went into a coma & kept bleeding. This led to brain damage & he died!

I know Mike well... he is one of the BEST person's you could know.. There is nothing he wouldn't do for any of us.. lets all give him something.. a short prayer will do..

I hope this is the case.....As some of you know Mike is one of my best friends and without him the racing scene will not be the same for me. I spoke to his wife yesterday and I am unsure if he was medically put into coma as stated above or if it just happened. I am hoping that it was medically induced.

Heres 11 angels for good luck Mike (as in 11 sec your C5 has run in the 1/4). My hopes and prayers go out to you and your family. Your a great guy and we all are pulling for you.

Another good thought is my dads brother had the same thing and was pronounced dead 3 times and is living now and doing extremely well. I know Mike can do the same

I got the word on this last night from Mr. MOJO and all my thoughts have been with Mike evey since. Mike is one of those speical people that make this hobby so great. His approach to racing and life is an example we all should follow.
I wish him the best and know he is in good hands.

This is awful news!

Mike is one of the nicest guys I know of from the challenge.

I'll say a prayer until He is back racing with us.
