Default MSD6AL Which Pill?

Recently installed MSD 6AL.
Red Line for Bill Mitchell 427 ci SBC is 6000 RPM.
I have my shift light pill at 5800 RPM.
I have a 6000 rev-limiter pill in there now.
Should I install 7000 RPM rev limiter pill or stay where I'm at?

Leave in the 6K, try it and see what happens.........IMHO ALWAYS start out on the safe side with a new combo, good luck

In my experence with my MSD box I would put in the 6200 or 6300 pill in the box because the tranny might take the 200 RPM difference to shift and you could still hit the limiter when it shifts. I think the 7000 pill would be too far from redline.

Just my .02

Thanks ALLTHROTLE&NOBOTTLE and Tonycino,
I will stay in the safe zone 6000 pill.....
I did take her for a road run today and the unit is mounted inside my glove box. It was warm to touch but not hot.
It also had a buzzing sound.....beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Is that normal?

The Buzz is capacitive discharge multiple spark 6 Series design at its best!, normal but...............you need air flow around it. May want to look at another spot inside or outside
