Default What does your tach do when you powershift... is my clutch slipping a bit?

Today/tonight it was nice and hot. Driving around the car was hooking wonderfully with NO wheelhop... it's amazing how fast these cars really are when you have traction and can bang gears without getting off it

Anyway I've only been to the drags once and do auto-x and HPDE's where it's easy on the clutch. I really never powershift the car.

Tonight I figured what the f'k and gave it a few rips... man it hooked and felt super fast, but I noticed something a bit odd when I'd bang 2nd at 6400rpms. The tach would hold steady around 6000 for a bit then start climbing to 6500 where I'd hit 3rd. I'm so used to the car hopping like crazy when I banged second that this is all new to me. Does this seem normal, is it the tires spinning? I figured if the tires were spinning the tach would continue to rise as normal, no hesitate.

Any ideas? Oh yeah the car has the stock '01 clutch with 32,xxx miles

My '95 between shifts(6000rpm) would drop to about 4500 rpm. That's with powershifting. I have a video somewhere I'll try and post later.

6000 might be a bit high.. more like about 5800. Z06s have very close ratios between 1-2-3... the rpm's barely fall comming into second and then bang your shifting into third.
