Here is the VIDEO of John's Gormans 427 CI C5R 9.45 @ 144.75 MPH Run
On his 2nd run of the day and on the car, John ran a 9.45 @ 144.75 MPH with only a 1.40 60 foot (it has a solid axle rear)! They were just shaking it out today in prep of next weeks Vette / Viper shoot out and were not launching real hard and were not expecting such a nice run. The run was at Long Island Dragway.

Very impressive! Imagine how quickly it would run if it stayed in the groove - that track appears to have a definite groove of good traction area. Congrats on the terrific first time out results.

I saw that on C5 Tech/Performance.

Was that normally aspirated? Looks like he was out of the groove a tad, shortly after the launch.

That thing looked like it really hooked, can't believe it was not better than a 1.40 60ft. Great set-up, hope to see it run at Cecil next week.

The car is NA.
The engine is built for spray.

What sorta throttle body is on that car? What does the TB flow for air?

Is it still FI?

Thank you. What will it take to get you up here to race with us. We want to run you & Rick how about we set up something for September or October.
Then in the winter will come down to you. try to get away it will be a blast.
