Default New Mods net 1/2 sec. on track

Removed brand X Headers and installed TPIS Headers and Magnaflow perforated X pipe. Also installed my new CCW's and BFG Drag radials. Previous best in my A4 was 12.70 on a cool night. Normally runs consistant 12.90's New best into headwind low 70's 12.48 @ 109.31 :D :reddevil Can't wait to get an aggressive LS Edit Tune in this thing. Mods to date: airbox, headers, X-pipe, 3.73 gear, stingers, minimal LS Edit tune (lots more to go) CCW's w/BFG's :D Looking forward to a great Corvette Challenge Season.......................
Bob

I have those same mods. So if I put in some 3.73 gears AND converter, I'd be faster than that, huh? Hmmmm. Congrats, Bob!

Bob, glad you got yourself a record run but I calculate a new best by roughly .2 not .5. Nonetheless it is good.

I stand corrected. Was using comparison of what the car normally runs. Still considering the 2 things that changed since my last run, DIFFERENT BRAND OF HEADERS and the BFG's i never thought i would go from the 12.9's to 12.4's

Bob did you go with wider headers? I just put in 1 3/4 kooks replacing my 1 5/8 headers. No new record run for me but my record run came in -1000 da and we were racing in +1700 today with a decent headwind.

How much didm the drag radials improve you 60'

Actually i went smaller, from 1 7/8 down to the 1 3/4. Drag radials allowed me to go from 1.967 down to 1.818 :D

Awesome move. I was told 1 7/8 is too big me too so that is why I went 1 3/4.

Good run BOB sounds like you picked up a couple of tenths. Its all in the tuneing and the B.F.G.s because you always spun your tires before. And your old headers that were loaners on your car were 1 3/4 tubes to 1 7/8 step headers because you were going to go to a aggressive head and cam package down the road . still it was a good run , right weather and good tires.
