[VIDEO] Soooo.... Close but still no cigar or tens..and some bad luck too!
Well the temps dropped a little the last couple of days here in the Florida sunshine and the weatherman promised mid 50's tonite..so I run out and take another shot at the TENS...except the temps never got below 69 degrees and the humidity was still in the 75% range..I go anyway :smash:
I'll make this short....My first couple of runs were very good..11.17 @ 121 and 11.09 @ 122 ..in that order..My 60' times again good at 1.53 and 1.50 I'm Happy.. :yesnod: My next run something happens and I loose 8 tenths ..the car's running rough and there is a significant loss of power..I run a 11.8 @ 115..WTF !!..I NOT happy:mad: ..The DIC say's P0300..That's a misfire.. :yesnod: ..Maybe the spark plugs fouled  ..Maybe the wires were too close to the headers and burned through ..I don't know but I really soured on the evening and I drive home sputtering at 60 mph like I'm driving on 7 cylinders..I'll take a look in the morning..I'm too tired right now ...If anyone has been through this and knows what I can do..Please help
Anyway..here are the vids..I didn't even edit them..

Pull all the plugs and start from there... check the wires and coils too... Thats the easiest thing to start on...

One tip regarding the video camera... turn off the auto focus so the numbers on the "scoreboard" (you know what I mean) are clear.. I am going to go blind trying to read the numbers... :skep:

If you have a scanner it will read the code as P03xx, where xx is the cylinder the misfire is occuring in, good luck and still very excellent times, I know I'd love to be low 11's

Brother Vince. You are persistent my friend. You'll get 10's for sure real soon. As for the misfire. I would start real simple. Check and pull every wire IMO. I had this code and it was a burnt wire....simple as that. I hope you find it quickly and it is an easy fix. Good luck.

Excellent. Vince....I bought the "Coolsox" or "Firesleeves" (or something like that) from Thunderracing.com and it fixed the problem. Cheap insurance....no problems since.

Glad the problem was simple!
Now, go out and wait for a 56 degree day (= 10.999 @ 122.63) and with a real cold day :D (50 F) in S. Florida, you will run a 10.984 @ 122.71.
Get some weather like we had 2 weeks ago and you will run 10.872 @ 123.42!
In any case, good runs (regardless of the warm weather :D ).
