Default Drag Radial ET drop

What's everyones drop in ET when using drag radials?

Right now, I can only leave the line off idle, but I hope with the drag radials I'd be able to at least launch the car.
It's a 6 speed, 3.33:1 gear.

Is the rule of thumb, that for every 0.1 sec drop in 60 ft. time, you will gain 0.2 sec drop in ET?

If my best 60 ft. time so far is 1.971, and if I managed a 1.721 with drag radials(0.25 second change)...

Would you be able to get 0.5 sec better in ET?

It's anywhere from 1.5-2 tenths for every tenth.

As long as your clutch is good, you should see an improvement. Inmy case, I think my clutch was on it's way out, my 60' on street tires was just as good as with drag radials.

If you aren't spinning on street tires, you may not see an improvement at all.
But if you were spinning off the line, this should help quite a bit.

Best way to find out is to get outthere and do it.

BTW, moving this to "Drag Racing"
