Had to take advantage of the Fall air, so I went to Atco for some T&T.
This car has me flabergasted Without further adieu, the timeslips.
#1. Slight spin...beat up on a nitroused LS1 Trans Am
60'...1.701
330..4.905
1/8...7.550
MPH..92.10
990'...9.708
11.799
MPH..116.85
#2 Dead Hook..snuffed out a Vortex Mustang
60'....1.624
330...4.815
1/8....7.457
MPH...92.31
990'...9.692
1/4....11.70
MPH...116.81
So all new bests on 60', ET, and MPH.
Still stock internals and stock GM tuning (referring to the air-fuel tables)
I did make a few changes since 2 weeks ago. I changed the fuel filter, and it was partially clogged. Probably was the reason the car was running lean.
This is something you guys should think about doing. Thanks to Dennis K. and Tony Abbruuze and their LS1 Edit expertise, the "abuse Mode" has been throughly eliminated from the ECM :smash: The car now feels stronger than ever. Of course the cool air helps. This car is definitely a "Ringer", either that or it's posessed :reddevil
Re: COOL AIR & small changes = all New Bests (Red96Coupe)
Thanks John. Yeah your car is the quickest C4, with just minor mods, that I've heard of. I guess we got lucky and picked out the cream of the crop :smash:

Mike please tell me you have more than just headers, converter and intake on that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy crap.......it's fly'n
Whatever it says in his sig is what he has in the car. The motor was never touched. It's all just bolt-ons. His car simply amazes me and makes me pretty damn jealous.... :D
Re: COOL AIR & small changes = all New Bests (ralph)
Thanks guys
Ralph
Yeah I've been there, I mean I had an '88 TPI Vette and did everthing possible to it H/C, headers, LPE manifold etc, and with 150 shot of spray I ran just slightly better than what this car goes with basic boltons. This doesn't take away from your car though, as your baby runs strong and very consistent.
Eric
I believe the DA was about =5-600. Definitely good air. Sorry you couldn't make it. How is your dads car coming along?
RWhite
Yep, still has the stockers. But good tip, I will keep an eye on them
Edgar
Thanks , wish you could of been there. I'm sure you would be looking at a new best, if not just to make some passes.
Re: COOL AIR & small changes = all New Bests (LittleBoyBlu99)
Hey, I grew up in that New Jersey air. There were so many hydrocarbons in it that you could almost run your car with what came in through the top of the carb. When the local weatherman gave the air quality report it included an octane rating.
