Default Its a Sad Day.. but Reitrement is Here...

Yup...

I hate to do it, but I'm sending the "Honda" to the Don Gartlis museum in Fl. After 3 years of 19.xx sec runs, & over $2500 in prize money the "Little Honda That Could" .. Cant anymore :( It going on the selling block (Penny Saver)

However :) The replacement will be in my posession sometime next week.. I got it from WJ .. its a Chevy Caviler ..

I had Ralph make some "easy passes" with it & he gave it the Thumbs Up :D
Its a white Z24... I just ordered the GM Performance Parts logo & Hood Scoop (same as WJ's) & it will be @ E Town soon...

When I read the caption for the thread, you scared the "rice" out of me. I was afraid YOU were retiring. The Cavalier ought to take care of your Honda ricer buddies. Maybe you can add 4 to that Z24. Good luck, and...

RACE ON!!!

The series isn't "import" anymore....It's "sport compact" and i think the Cav qualifies. Especially if he adds a wing and some neon lights.

He already practiced his launch in my driveway.

Nope :)

I checked the rules... the class was changed from Import to
"Sport Compact" to allow American Compact cars..

I run that PRO TREE. I can let you win all the money.

I think my Saturn will make a neat racer.

Tony..

This has the Quad 4 motor 4 valve.... it runs strong, my only racing concern is it will spin the tires.. With the Honda I could hook up on a wet track :)

I DONT plan on getting slicks for it.. maybe Nittos :D

PS Say Hi to that "Quiet, Shy,Timid", little blond friend of yours ;)

Yup, there is just to much money out there to race for.
With very little investment you can be real competitive and all you need are .600 lights ;)
