Default Opening up a race shop

Greetings Vette community! I知 currently a junior in college (business management, yes lol) and while I知 mostly against it, I would drop out if it lead me to the right place/time. My buddy and I want to open a race shop in under 10 years when we graduate hopefully. I have a c5 and all my car buddies agree agree with wanting to do something like this. I was hoping I could get some advice/experience from you guys that have a shop (or not) and maybe point us in the right direction. We talk and do more car **** than anything else so the passion and the energy is there but wanted an opinion on if this is a reasonable idea and plan.
Thanks everyone that responds!

Once you graduate from college, get all of you together and go to SAM in Houston. You can take different majors, so you each have a specialty.

Go as a group, to ensure y’all can get along during stressful times, not just talking cars and drinking beers time.

Best of success to you!

Excellent advice here,

Being Buddy's and Being Business Partners are two completley different things.

Get a business degree. Small business owners
do not have 9 to 5 jobs. It is always better to have
work experience before opening your own business.
The customer is always right, even if they are wrong.
Good luck
