How To Lose an Index Race
Ran at the annual "Cadillac Attack" race last Saturday. Corvettes were allowed to enter but the only class open to my car was the 10.50 Index. I was holding almost .500 so I knew I had to "park it" at the stripe to avoid a breakout. I had a great .002 light but "parked" way too aggressively and my opponent blew by me at the finish line for the win. My 10.75 on the 10.50 Index and a pedestrian 105 MPH (to his 130 MPH) tells the tale. See the video and the time slip (Car 3X29). However, it was a great day as the weather was near perfect and I had a great time hanging with my brother visiting from the frozen north and none other than the infamous "Fuzzy Dice" Dan W.

My son John and I ran his ZL1 in the LT All Out Class and won. Saw you race several times Big Mac. Your car is Clean and Mean. You and Dan should have stopped by out Redline Motorsports tent for a cold brew. Maybe next year.

Don’t think I will be making that one Dan. Getting my son’s car ready for Texas 2K.
