Beach Bum wins the West Coast Corvette Challenge!
Let me be the first to say that I came in second to Beach Bum this afternoon at the 5th. and final WCCC event for this year! He did a great job all day long - especially at the tree. I lost to him in the final round on a double-breakout! If you gotta go, you gotta go down swingin'! :boxing
I'll leave the whole story about how Todd won the event, for him to post up later tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime, bigtime CONGRATS to an excellent driver and a true sportsman who always finds a moment to help out old and young driver's alike.

Congratulations Beach. You took me out on your way into the semi-finals. Nice car, great driving, super times. See you next season... As Arnold would say, I'll be back. :D

Allllllll right!!!!!!!! Congrats on a great year of racing. Its unbelieveable how consistent and how little down time your car has had the past 2-3 years.
Gary, for your runner up finish.

Yeah Beach, how DO you keep that car in one piece??? I can't remember the last time you had a failure...maybe when the radiator sprung a leak. I remember your rear was squealing like mine, but a fluid change solved that for you..........i had to replace the entire posi unit, doh. OK, lets all knock on wood now that we have mentioned it

Thanks everybody :)
And Bruce, where we you !!! We've missed you that last few events. You gotta take a whip to your crew.
Ralph & Phil,
I don't know how it has stood up, the motor now has 40,000 miles on it and zero problems... just change the oil and go. The tranny (knock on wood) has been absolutely perfect. The rear end has been fine too... heard some slight squeeling once.... but never again. Have had to re-do the brakes a couple of times.
The radiator was because something mysterious shot through the radiator in the freakn staging lanes.... that was weird.
I think because everything is so mild.... low cr, low rpm, low gears, reasonable stall its lived reliably so far. Hope it continues.

Congrats Beach, keep it going!
I guess you guys on the southern Left Coast don't have an off season like us here in the cold belt. We've only got a couple of weeks remaining before things shut down 'til spring & I think my car needs a timeout anyway.

Congrats to Beach... We got together in round 1 of all things. I went .493
red to his .516 light and he ran right on his dial! It was his day for sure!

Yes! >Thank you Todd for helping me with my tire pressure questions. It helped bigtime! Congrats on the win. A master indeed. Your MPH's just astound me. I felt like this ` big when I raced you in the morning test and tune session. I felt like I was standing still!
Congrats Todd!
