Default New Insurance Thread....

Mac's insurance thread got me to thinking...does anyone insure their race car and trailer for just Comprehensive?...that is to say, fire, theft or vandalism...

My open trailer with the race car on it sits in my driveway 24/7 when not in use...some idiot could jack it or some kids could vandalize it thinking they are being funny...

I checked with Geico and they do not offer this coverage...my race car is not street legal so it is not titled or tagged...I suppose I could install a car alarm at a minimum...I wonder if that might drain the battery?...hmmmmm...

Now I am looking into a GPS tracker to put on my trailer or in my race car...looks like they are 30 to 100 bucks...
