Default Stock LS2 W/ Cam and A&A kit almost hit 9's

We have been playing around with this car for a little while just picking away at it. Going faster and faster each time. Last year we went 10.20 on the stock wheels with drag radials. We switched up the wheel/tire package to help us reach our goal of 9's with the stock motor.

Only mods are Cam with associated parts, 1 3/4kooks headers, Corsa Catback, V3SI A&A kit, Meth Kit, Mcleod RXT clutch, and 06+ rear diff since this car is a 2005.

That 60 is great! But if you can get it done with that MPH that's a 9.50 car!
Time for a glide!

With that trap speed you should should be able to hit a high 9 contingent on the track conditions. I would try some different tire combinations such a switch to bias ply tires in the rear and see if you can improve that 60' time. There are a lot of stick shift guys who swear by the drag radials, and some who swear by bias ply tires. I say find what works for you and your driving style, although for a stick shift car a bias ply tire in the rear might be easier on the drive train components. Good luck for your quest for 9's.
