I was just thinking, he really was so happy with the way the car ran (he left a few of us messages stating just that last Sunday evening). If it's ok with his family/all else closely involved, it would be awesome to eventually (maybe not right now) be able to enter his quickest time slip onto the C6 Tech Section 'Fast List' so that his name/accomplishment can live on forever in that section that he often posted in as well. It could be nice little tribute.

When the time is right, you might also ask the family for a copy of the 11.60 (?) slip to post in the LS2 bolton list. He was real proud of that too.

Working on it as I type. We will have some type of memorial for John on the list as well as posting his time.

Due to personal issues I've been away from this section for a few years and it was a serious shock to read the news of JP.
He was a real inspiration and help to me; i will hold his memory.

It was a sad day when Julio called me and let me know the sad news, I never meet jpee in person, but enjoyed his posts and PM's was hoping to meet up at an atco rental, but weather cancelled. would have loved to pick his brain on bracket racing, a corvette challenge bracket racing Legend

Rest In Peace John-
I remember when i had my first Vette... White 96 LT4, rolled into E-town by myself in 2001 just to hangout during a corvette event. Guy walked up to me, introduced himself as John Panuzzo and asked if Im a member of CF. I said no, and asked whats that? He told me this web site and it was all history from there.
Great guy!

I am deeply saddened to hear this . I spoke to Julio yesterday and he told me. I haven't been on this forum much lately and was just thinking of John last weekend while I was at the Gatornationals watching one of his favorite Pro-Stock drivers run ( V.Gaines ) . I remember being at Etown with John and his crew a few times watching the pros run and he would always be rooting for the old guy V.Gaines .John was truly a legend and a great guy . I remember meeting him back in 99 or 2000 at one of the first Corvette Challenges . There were only 6 or 7 cars , JP , Dennis K , Mackey , me and a few others , my car was almost bone stock and John was giving me tips on how to launch the car. he kept saying let me try and 60ft the car for you , , I didn't let him drive my car that night but I wound up winning the event that night and will never forget Johns help or that night . RIP John and god bless his family and friends .
