I will be racing at Immokalee on Saturday. I see on Sunday they have a bracket race if I'm not overtired from Saturday I could swing over on Sunday. I've been on bradenton website I don't know what time it starts but I imagine it will start at 8 AM. I see they have one time trial on Sunday good enough for me.
I'm only one hour drive from Lake placid sounds like fun....
I might try open comp on Sunday. I guess that is the "bracket" class? I was a little confused on the web site. Do you make a time shot then get dialed in .010 quicker for the duration of eliminations? Is this a 1/4 miler event?
Like Rick, I'll be running at Immokalee on Saturday.

I guess the car count will be low in Fla. or not many are going from the Corvette Community.
I think those that are going are Rodney (Crew), Paul Smith (Jr & Sr) and myself. That will be a small circle around the camp fire.
They are also having open time shots on Thursday 1-5pm. Friday night is the BBQ. Saturday will be time shots and sun tanning. Sunday will be eliminations.
Ok, I will rub it in. Here is the weather for Bradenton:
Thursday - 84 degrees & partly cloudy
Friday - 82 degrees
Saturday -84 degrees
Sunday -82 degrees
Each night will be in the mid 60's.

Where you seeing this? NMCA does have a class called open comp that you will not be able to enter on Sunday. Now the brackets may also include an Open Comp but not sure as it varies track to track.
Brackets will be what the track runs so if Bradenton is normally 1/4 bracket then that is what it will be. I think they will do two times shots then elimination, normal bracket stuff.
I tried to do some checking and both the track and NMCA websites leave a lot to be desired...
Looks like there are brackets which will offer Box and No Box on Sunday with one time shot...typical IHRA deal...$47 entry for No Box and if over 40 cars it pays $800 to win...less than 40 cars I have no idea what they pay...as to times, good luck finding that info...I couldn't...
Open Comp is definitely offered but good luck finding the entry fee...the payout seems to be $500...whoopee!...I have no idea when they run it either...lotsa luck finding that as well....
I am out on all counts as they do not allow electric shifters in open comp and I work on Sundays as well, so have fun y'all....

That's pretty much all that needs to be said... and, it seems, all tracks follow this idea. It is so frustrating. It doesn't surprise me that car counts are low.
its a cam only ls3.no power added yet.but it will have the blue bottle soon for mid 9 second passes.couldnt get the lsx engine put together in time ,dew to money and family matters.maybe next year lsx procharged.gunna run the 11.00 class.

Thanks Bre, I will see you on Thursday. I will be there for the Beer and Time Shots. Yes, in that order.
Also need to get there early to buy some Nittos to replace the Mickey Thompson drag radials.

A $500 payout is not bad. Up here in the North East you do not see payouts like that often.
BBQ Friday night at the car show tent.
Saturday afternoon BBQ at my trailer, Bre and the NMCA crew are invited.
