Default What are you doing new for 2012?

We well have seen several posts in threads with some folks retiring, selling and buying stuff.

What is new for you?

The only thing new for me is that I'll be racing a little less in 2012 and might try my hand a couple of times at the 'bracket side' of the Corvette Challenge classes as well as the GM EFI brackets maybe. Other than the numerous test & tune passes over the years I have almost no real Sportsman/regular tree seat time and want to expand my horizons a little bit.
No physical modifications/changes to the Corvette or the Camaro Z28 but I might be switching off between the two of them for various events/classes throughout the season.

Sell my Vette - Get a full size GM truck suitable for towing...

Sell my Tacoma - get a New (to me) race car with an AUTO transmission.....

11.50, CC, EFI, NA Shootout series, Saturday Street Car Shootout at Cecil and likely a couple NMCA events. *

*Disclaimer - provided my work schedule allows

Wow you weren't kidding when you said you might do this...apparently someone's adding some power over the winter.

Cam (with springs/retainers/maybe pushrods etc as well obviously), FAST intake manifold, ported throttle body and 3200-3600 stall and you should be there.

Swapping 3.42s into the GS to chase the 9s, and hopefully getting the 67 out like I've wanted to for the past 2 years.

What were the results with 2 steps in the 11.50? Were they a factor at all

No plans to run Atco in 2012 huh (even tho it's your home track). Should I take that as a compliment?

The C5 is depreciated to the point where I don't feel bad putting a cage in. Time to turn up the boost & have fun (safely).

Nice to hear some of these plans. Most surprised by the triple effort Eric is planning. I am guessing one of the three will be the the white car that dad shares in brackets?

Pete, sounds like you have the most aggressive winter schedule with a multiple vehicle change. Any leads on either of those purchases yet? Wish I could say I got a deal for you but just not ready to let it all go.

Speaking of rubber, I cannot beleive how many tries i have in my house. Seems I am a bit of a hoarder on these. I have 7 in the truck to dump that I held on to just in case i needed a "take-off" in a pinch. Then there are the ones on wheels....ugghhh. Need garage space!!!

My garage has no more room for left over tires so out back they go.

Once I get my car back to stock, I'll sell or trade for a truck. Hopefully a pretty straight forward plan.

Once I get a truck, I'll sell/trade my Tacoma for a car. I had it pretty well planned out until Eric's dad decided to sell his car. Now I'm reconsidering my options.

I think I'll change the oil.
