Cecil County Screws The INDEX RACERS...
I just read that during the Yellow Bullet Nats Cecil County decided that the index racers were not good enuff to compete today.... 10:00 11:50 12:00, PRO Dial were giving one Quilifer at 11:00 am and then were put on the back burner for the rest of the day/night... Funny thing is JR Dragsters made 5 passes..... Thank God I didnt take a day off yesterday to get ready to go... seems like alot of index racers were very pissed off.....

Wow, between the 'heavy hitter pro types' all running 11.50000s at Atco and this goin' on at Cecil I think I too made the right decision to just go watch some NASA road racing at Pocono Raceway instead LOL.
There is a good reason why I generally only enter races or series' that I know very well, the well run/well respected Corvette Challenge and NMCA/LSx Shootout races among them.

Golf cart race had big sponsor dollars - us sportsman racers didn't...
The promotors did too good a job and there were too many cars. There were 50+ in X275!!! Too many classes... Track did what they could, but there's only so much you can do when you try to run that many classes.

Well I suppose that's a bit of a double edged sword so to speak. On the one hand we should all rejoice that car counts might really be starting to look up at events like this after so many dismal years of the opposite. But on the other hand you guys went there to race, not make one single test pass and then spectate for the remaining 6+ hours.

but that is not an unusual schedule if you run a big event. I can remember going to NHAR natioal events where you would get 1 run on thursday and 1 run on friday and then run for class on saturday.

Nice pic indeed.
Hard to tell from here, looks like roughly 14psi?
True, it does happen.
But was that the 'known schedule' or planned order for that event or did it all change midstream once you were already there and tech'd in?
