This was a warm up (no points) I'm racing next week at the 1st points race...

I did pretty well last week (Domestic vs Imports) went 4 rounds... I "Think" I found my spot on the tree.. I have to DEEP STAGE.. or my lights are a little too late..

last week I had a .000 , .004 , 026 , and in the 4th I went RED - .017

GEE, I thought we were past this, You can do what ever you want it's your car, but Jeanne is a great young racer, if she wants to run the challenge she can find her own car. Your not getting any younger and you never get these opportunity back. You make that trip to E-town to watch someone else drive ????? If your too old to race stay home with Bert, if not put your *** in that car and keep it there.

Some were suggesting yesterday that John let her run the whole season again in his car but I disagreed for that very same reason. Guys can race well into their 70s (Paul Newman won Daytona at like 70 years old ) and even '80s but when racing against the lower average age crew that make up most of the Corvette Challenge field one needs all the skills that they can muster so now is the time for John to keep racing. He's still go it too.
In time he can do the 'Roger Penske/Michael Waltrip type thing' and retire from racing to become a 'team owner'. Jeanne will have a nicely 'seasoned' Corvette to race when that happens LOL.

Congrats Jeanne. And by the way, keep driving John's car, it performs and looks a lot better with you in it. My 2 cents.
