Default Changes for 2011 should add up to 2200rwhp!

For the 2011 Season I am pleased to announce that we will be adding 2 new sponsors to the car.

ERLPerformance.com will be the new Engine Sponsor and this year I will be running a 427CI ERL Superdeck Block instead of the LSX Block I have been running. This new block will save 125lbs off my old setup and is being setup to support 2200rwhp!

Topping this new bottom end will be AllPro's Heads filled with Jessel Rockers and handling our new Solid roller setup.

I am going to be planting the power from all these new parts with the same TH400 Transmission and C6Z Rear end from RPMTransmissions that we used last year.

We will be using the best axles and drive shaft you can get from the drive shaft shop

and of corse the Turbo Kit that started it all built and tuned by IPSMotorsports.net!

As many of you may already know the cage is now done and will be painted this weekend. Our plan is to begin reassembly next week and if everything goes as planned we will be at the first race of the NMCA and LSX Series in Bradenton Florida.

We are still working on the final details for the new turbo, but we will be replacing last years 91mm turbo with a 106mm or larger billit bb turbo.

Stay tuned as we reassemble the car and I will try to keep updated with pictures and information as available.

Also stay tuned to carlyleracing.com for updated information as well.

Wow, I wish I had a chance for Bradenton, but my car is last in line.

That is pretty freakin' awesome! What color did you decide to paint the cage?

I might go hang with the radial guys this year and leave the true street for Jay and Dave. It all depends on if I man up and finish the cage. Then I have to just give up the street driving more or less, and I'm not sure I want to do that.

That will look awesome, I have painted some of the cages we have done with the factory paint coded spray paint from GM, it comes out nice and can be easily touched up when scratched.

We are planning on putting 3M clearbra over the areas where I will be in contact with the cage... that way if it gets hit it won't get too nicked up.

Thanks Mark, would be fun. The tire thing gives a whole other level of tuning which is challenging.
