Congrats Bereczki (CC), Anthony S. Cupolo (P11), Cavanagh (P10) and Shen (P8) Race 8
Another great day for the Corvette Challenge.
In the Corvette Challenge Doug Bereczki takes his first event win when Tony Cupolo goes red and then proceeds to run dead-on with a 14.442 on 14.44 dial.
In the 11.50 it is Tony's son, Anthony S. taking his second 11.50 index win over Ralph Savarese who failed to run the number in the final. Father and son shared the car that lost it's alternator and made its last three/four passes on battery alone.
In the 10.50 Shawn Cavanagh takes over the points lead when he qualifies number 1 and goes on to the win over Edgar Perez who was in his fourth straight final.
In the Pro 8 Shootout it was David and David with Shen getting the better of Harris in the final by a margin of only .008. Shen took the win with 9.59 to Harris; 9.61
Working ladders and preliminary points are now updated for all classes http://www.corvettechallenge.info/standings.php.
Congrats to the winners and thanks to all for coming out today.

Congrats to all the winners!
And special congrats to the Cupolos for taking out Savarese (twice), which no one else has been able do lately, including myself.
Doug, this win was long overdue!

Congratulations to all the winners, runner-ups and drivers who came out to participate in the event
It was great seeing some new faces in the winners lanes - Some well deserved trophies in some tough classes along with some tight MOVs on decent packages... good racing
It was also really nice to see some old friends return to the track such as the reappearance of Chris and the blueberry and we look forward to seeing him back in the 9.50 series
We did get some photos and here they are: Gridview <or> Slideshow

in lanes angle parked no people no other cars or background clutter last not sure if this was intentional but one pict. your car doing a smoky burnout but smoke coming out of front wheel ventflowing towards rear of car gives movement and life to a stationary object and a menancing snarl of the beast within.Sorry if I sound like a nut but my uncle was a prof. potographer and he taught me what to appreciate and your picures are well done P.S. You might want to try printing some pictures in black and white take out the color and the object and action becomes more apparent
