It was a much nicer day out today for racing.
In the Corvette Challenge we had the three-time champ, Ralph Savarese, make it 3 out of the last 4 event wins. He defeated Adam Brandt in who was in his first Corvette Challenge final.
In the 11.50 it was Rich Shuleski in the '96 Grand Sport over point leader Eric Fischer.
In the 10.50, I got my lucky break in my third final in a row when Russ DeLibero rolled through the beams.
In the 9.50 it was Dave Harris with two in a rwo from the number one spot in qualifing picking up the 5 bonus points defeating Sonnie Pongonis in his second final in a row.
Sonnie also went on to win the EFI Quick Time 8. I know we had other racers in EFI but I have not had a chance to look at those results.
Congrats to all and thanks for coming out today.
Prelim points likely very late tonight or tomorrow. Going out with my girls.

Okay I am back and preliminary points are updated and winner pictures are up.

BIG thanks to everyone who helped me deal with my siezed cooling fan today. Thanks to the Cupolos for loaning me a drill, some tools and moral support. Farley to offering to loan me money. Mike Beck for the drill bits, the WD and the spare fan. Thanks to Mike for also whipp'n my *** in the first round of the EFI, preventing me from using up what was left of the fan.....lol. The fan lasted about 4-5 round before it went on fire and I ran the last 2-3 rounds with no fan with the engine getting hotter and hotter......dont think it woulda made it another round.

Way to go, Ralph, Rich, Ed, Dave & Sonnie!
Like I said in the pits to Ralph, ain't nothing or no one gonna stop you.
You could have been running on 7 cylinders, when you're that good, you're that lucky as well..

Nice going guys...
I went out in the 1/4 finals... but took the "Gold" in the GM Hi Tec race...so I cant complain, I made it to the money round in the CC and won the GM race....
Daym... I feel young again like I did back in 1996 when I used to win more often....
Watch out next week I'm on a roll.. !!
Redgar.. comon post the points, I think I gained a spot or 2..... As for Ralph..
I could start a Ralph Bounty.. but I'm NOT GOING TO BECAUSE .. he (Ralph) is so scared of getting his azz wupped he said he was thinking of skipping the next race only because I threatened to put a BOUNTY ON HIM..... AND because he has such a big point lead he don't want to risk being "Humiliated" by Pops Panuzzo when I take him out in our next meeting...
I would have had him in the semis today, but I went RED in the 1/4 finals... giving the "KID" (Ralphieee) a break.. I was on a roll today with the one exception... where I was thinking of (X Rated Stuff) and had a .190 light but the guy I was racing wasn't thinking of X Rated stuff he was WATCHING X Rated.. and he had a 4xx light giving me an "undeserved" win...but I'd rather be lucky than good...
So if Ralphieee gets his car together, and don't get a case of the "shakes" I'll kick his azz next week for you guys who are still in the running...

Congrats to all the winners and runner-ups today.
I was being sneaky and didnt get caught watching 1320go on my iPhone during my sister's wedding... I didnt get to see all the rounds, but I saw the first round of the brackets and the 11.50 index. as well as some other action thoughout the day...
See yous all next week.
