My Race Car and Trailer for Sale
Before I go ahead and put my car and trailer for sale on Racing Junk and elsewhere I wanted to get this post out on the Corvette Forum - Drag Racing.
I have recently resigned my Executive position and have become a partner in a bank consulting firm. It's an "eat what you kill" position so my financial situation has changed significantly. As such, I am no longer going to race. But this post is not about my career change, it's about what is for sale - cheap.
Many of you know my car and trailer. No expenses spared and everything in excellent shape. If you know me, you know how meticulous I am and that I only used BOE (best of everything). I'm not going use a 100mb of space here to list every part, every specification and a bunch of photos. Go to - http://www.corvettechallenge.info/ and you will find pictures, videos and other information. Check this forum and you will see pictures taken by fellow racers.
I'm looking to sell the whole thing turnkey - the car, enclosed trailer and all the extras. I want $25,000 for everything. If you need, I can teach you to drive this car and qualify for your license if you want to go that fast. It's an 8.50 second car that brought me back to back Pro 8 championships at Englishtown as part of the Corvette Challenge series in 2007 and 2008.
You can PM me for more information but don't contact me to play 20 questions unless you are serious. Yes, its certified, yes its one of the fastest IRS C3's in the country, yes this, yes that. This is a serious car and trailer that I'm letting go $10k below what I know I can get once its fully advertised.
I wanted to see if there is any interest here before I list on Racing Junk and with some of the motor and car builders.
So, PM if you would like to talk seriously.
Thanks all.

Mark, That is a very good price for the entire package! I have seen your car run (right next to mine!) and have seen the trailer, as described... A very nice / kick-azz package.
Vivian and I will miss seeing you and Ben at the track. You are one of the drivers who signed my licensing application and helped me get into the CC Pro 9.50. We've noticed your absence and have been wondering where you may be.
Best wishes on your new career; may it be successful and prosperous. We hope that it leads to many new and exciting adventures and just maybe brings you back to the track again, sometime in the future. You will be missed.
Hopefully someone will see how good your deal is and we'll see the car back for more action, soon!

Sorry to see you go, but that is an awesome deal!
More importantly, good luck with the career change.

Good luck selling the car. It seems like a great value.

Helluva deal. We are promoting it to our Texas crowd now. Good luck in your new venture. As a consultant, I know about the kill what you eat thing. When times are good again, you can start over or try something else!

Well friends, after 12 years the deal is done and the car and trailer have a new owner. Some of you may know Jeff Bruso from Southbridge, MA. Jeff has acquired the package and will make some changes over the winter to call it his own.
Jeff has been racing for many, many years and owns several Corvettes. He is a customer of East Coast Supercharging and has also been a customer of Carmen over at Vette Drs. Jeff has a few other non-Corvette drag cars as well.
And if you think you have finally gotten rid of me, or at least my car, not so fast. After making the car his own Jeff tells me he will likely campaign it next year in the Pro 8, 9.50 class. I will be sure to coach him on your tricks.
It was a sad day yesterday as Ben and I helped Jeff take the car away.
Ben and I will always have the great memories as racing was one of the most rewarding father and son activities for us. And maybe being back to back Pro 8 Champion will stand the test of time in the record books. Our thanks to all the wonderful friends and competitors over the years. Who knows, maybe we'll turn another corner in life and come back to racing but for now, our best to you all.
Ps. I have a few items still to sell. I have the2 way radio set and my driving suits, gloves, shoes and helmet so PM me if you have any interest in that stuff.
