E'town Corvete Challenge Race 2 Winners are....
What a day...cold and long!!!
I have to hit the sack early as I am flying early tomorrow so here goes.
Corvette Challenge Louis Calicchia over Ellis gray in a nail biter....0259 mov
11.50 Index Ellis Gray over Eric Fischer in another close one 0.0312 mov
10.50 Index Steve Wells over Rob Zona another close one 0.0355 MOV
9.50 Index Angelo Valla over David Shen as Shen gets loose on the cold track.
More stuff coming of course.
I have bout 40 minutes of video which will probably take 40 hours to process so give me time.
Great job today racing folks.
Thanks for coming out.
Oh by the way,
Louis Calicchia took the double win winning the Classic vs Modern Muscle Class over Corvette racer Don Peppler Jr.
and
Shay LasCalla won the Pro Dial Dash over Wesley Dalrymple, an accomplished mustang racer who recently won at an NMRA race in Florida.
Congrats to all!!!!

Congrats to all the winners as well as everyone who came out to do battle in the cold temps... It was an awesome day
... Got some photos, but they are becoming a bit more restricted as the photographer has become a necessary pit crew member and seems to have less free time

Farley is running 11.50. Will take me quite a bit of time to get their qual and prelim points done. Farley has the result sheets and I need info from him. Tomorrow.

Nice job getting the prelim points up so soon..Looks like the Mahopac gang is trying to make a statement... "LOU"
As much as I like him, there might be a price in him.. no one should win 3 in a row
And besides... I'm trying to get back in my old form from a few yrs ago... It ain't easy.. lotsa good competition out there, & I'm not getting any younger.... LOL

Rookie = #1 in points.
Seasoned Veteran Redgar = Last in points.
Don't give up kid, you'll win a round someday.
I seem to recall you were doing quite a bit of trash talking?
I think you said "You won't win a single round for the first three races"
Shame on you.-
So anyway, where did you qualify again?
I didn't scroll down that far to check.
Congrats to Rob for making it a race, especially with a manual.
Thanks to Shawn for bumping me out of the #1 Qualifier position.
Congrats to all of the other Winners & Runner-ups.
It was cold, but it was fun.
I can't wait for next week.

Once again,
Congrats again Steve, that was no easy win by any means as Rob (and everyone else) was workin' it well all day but you came through when it counted.

I was going to offer you the same; being that you asked my wife if she would take a photo of you, standing with me, next to my car
See ya next Saturday
...Where would you like me to sign?

Congrats to all the winners.
Bob, I was a little late on the tree in the 11.50 - then gave up the stripe to Jerry. In Brackets, I was just dead late as if I was sleeping. But, the new engine ran what I dialed. 11.376 on a 11.37 dial.
There is no way I can complain. Human mistakes, car is deadly - try again at the next event.
Oh yeah, Shay took out the 2009 Pro Dial Champion in the final. I wrote last week that Shay was on a mission to take out anyone in her way. She is the one to beat in 2010!!
