2009 East Coast Supercharging Corvette Challenge 11.50 Index Champion- Rob Farley
First I want to thank East Coast Supercharging for their continued support of our hobby. The write the biggest check of all to make sure we have the best series at the best track. Then they go on to fabricate the parts we need and partner with others to ensure we keep the sport growing. And speaking of growing, both co-owners, Chris Coriell and Doug Ring have their own cars racing with us.
Asweome.
there are many sponsors and supporters for the series and each will be recognized at our Banquet on January 30th so please don't think anyone is being slighted here. This is our Championship announcement thread.
We came into the final race with three racers having a shot at Championship in 2009. Of course only can be Champion and in 2009 it is Rob Farley. In gritty performance where he faced points leader Eric Fischer in round three and got the win to make it possible for him to go on and make up the points he needed to capture his third Corvette Challenge Championship. In a drama filled day in which Farley enter four classes, winning two and was runner up in another and closed the deal not only on this championship but three others, the Corvette 11.50, the GM EFI 11.50 and the GM EFI brackets to go with his Friday night 11.50 Index Championship for a total of five for the year at Raceway Park. Simply amazing. He adds another title to the list of Corvette Challenge champions and joins Ralph Savarese as three time Champions. Previous Champions are Rob Farley (2009, 2006, and 2004), Ralph Savarese (2007, 2005, and 2002), Jeanne Linke 2008, Joe Blass 2003 and Bob Trieschmann 2001.
Please read take the time to congratulate Rob here and also read our final article of the season..you will not be disapointed

Racers are always after me.
Doors are always open, A theif will cause so much damage when kicking it in. Plus, I always welcome the unwanted. I get to pratice with my toys (bang-bang).
I can make a crucifix, since my religion we use pitch forks.
I won my 2nd event w/o sleep due to the kids and me having a cold.
I will sleep at thetrack, I have been asked if I have a suite there.
Now I know where I stand with you and I am sure with others.
The room will be silent when I am announced as the 2009 champ. Will be able to hear a pin drop.
