2009 American Racing Headers Pro 8 Shootout Champion

Congratulations go to Michael Conway (tensecvet) who has captured the 2009 Pro 8 Shootout Championship. On the strength of three number 1 qualifiers, two race wins and one race runner-up, Mike has collected 214 points this season to take his first Pro 8 Shootout Championship. Conway joins Mark Shaw (2008, 2007), Angelo Valla (2006), Paul Ziajski (2005) and Mike Mitchell (2004) as Pro 8 Shootout Champions.

A huge congrats to Mike

as this was also not his only championship of the season...a few of us got to celebrate his other 8.50 championship win with him at the Raceway Park awards banquet yesterday (a very nice spread/set up in the hospitality suites on the 2nd floor of the tower by the way

) and it is certainly well earned/deserved.

I have been following your success this year and it certainly has been a terrific one for you.

Too many bad events got in the way of me racing this past year. However, things are on the upswing and I hope to be out joining in the fun in 2010.
