1. Michael Conway 156
2. Angelo Valla 114
3. Jay McCardle, Jr. 108
At 20 pts per round, Mike Conway, the 8.50 index champ at Atco, holds a 38 pt lead over Angelo Valla. If we have 4 cars or less, Conway goes out rd 1 and Valla wins the event, Valla wrestles the champhionship from Conway.
If we have 5 cars or more, then that opens the door for McCardle. McCardle will need Conway to go out round 1 and to be one round better than Valla to wrestle the title from both.
Any of the three not showing, makes it a little easier for the others.

Sorry Edgar looks to me 156 - 114 is 42 pts
Looks like Conway stages 1st rd and takes another Championship in 2009

maybe a grudge race or 2 . Also hope we don't blast a 7sec pass and get a penalty . that would suck. We have been having trouble tuning her into 8.50 this month..........

Yes my math is off but don't forget the difference in qualifying points could even them up or, God forbid, a penalty changes the whole picture

I assure you Conway will be Champion unless you buy tech cards for everyone again for byeruns towards the 2nd or 3rd points chasers.....
I just hope to see changes for 2010 to give everyone a competitive place to race.
