Default It's alive!! I never thought it would happen, but it's alive!!

The very-very-very-very-very, long awaited start up of "GREEN" has finally happened, Alan just might be racing this season after all. (better late then never) Throughout all the redoing-reordering-refixing-etc, that had us very close to digging a hole and making it a planter over the last few years... it is finally coming to a head.
We are going to work on the base program today, we need to get a windshield in it, and who knows, maybe there will be some shake down passes at a Corvette event near you soon!!!

With all the misdirection that has occurred with this car for reasons we wont get into, Alan has remained focused and level headed about it, and we thank him for it. Also Rob, our shop manager, has spent countless late nights with me, and on his own to help complete this project, which is going beyond the call of duty, and it has been noted, thanks.

They say good things come to those who wait, and I think that will hold true. IMO, this car is simply a work of art, and has been touched by some of the best shops in the business. Vanishing point, Corrolls rod n racecraft, Leo RIP, LRB machining, and we are rather proud of the front mount single 94mm turbo set up that our machinist has put together, along with a ton of one off parts as well.

Besides just getting this car on the track, we are most looking forward to have one of our best customers and friend, Alan, back in the racing game.

I'll get some pics posted shortly.

Doug and Rob have worked through all the issues and stayed with it no matter what.

Thanks for your persistance and belief that we would get there.

A special note to Bob: I know it was a tough road for you but in the end I want you to know that I appreciate your creativity and willingness to help make this a very special car.

Can't wait to see her at the track... I've seen the car so many times when I'm at the shop and have always looked forward to the day that she's fired up and ready to rumble!

Great work guys! And Congrats to Alan for the creation of this beast.

Maybe this means that Rob has freed up some time to play with my car now

See ya all soon,

Dave

We'll leave the boost low and the training wheels on!

"Green" looks great! I love the way you mounted the turbo in the center. Who makes that hood? Carbon fiber or glass? It looks cool.

VIS Carbon Fiber cowl induction hood. If you look hard enough you can get a great deal on one.

Thanks Bill - some tough times recently with no work and losing both of my parents but it looks like things are turning up in now.
