Dave, did they really call you to the tower for 137? Wow, they really are getting strict. They never said anything last year for my low 140's but then this year is when I got called to the tower for the ~148 pass. The look on your face Edgar was priceless I guess after the whole debate of switching classes specifically for the mph rule was kind of funny. Ill get the damn cage in there soon enough, but I also said that last year

Hi Russ, yeah, I was serious about the 137 mph (see photo below - that is the actual pass). When I picked up my slip the guy said "I'm not sure why, but you can't run again until you go up to the tower"... So, I headed up and was told to slow it down.
Please make sure you stop by and say hi on Saturday, it's been a while and we still have to go out for a few drinks some night
On yet another topic... Is anyone going to the cruise-in tomorrow night at Raceway Park? If yes, question: Can you tow a car there? Or, are you required to drive it in? I would like to go, but am too lazy to change from the drag pack to my street rims/tires.
Wow, they arent messing around with the 135 rule I guess. Ill be getting the cage sooner than later I guess. Although Ill have the coupe on Sat as I have to go straight to a rehearsal dinner after the track Sat as one of my best friends is getting married on Sunday. I told him I may run a little late if I do well at the track, and he replied, "I guess Ill see you on time"
