Default Smack it to ya

I happened to pair up with my old man in first round today because it was just the way the lanes worked out. I asked him if he was gonna give me a good run, he said something about 'I am gonna smack it to ya, punk!'

And smack it to me he did, check out his .008 light and .03 over his dial and I WAS DONE! TOAST! Last week's event winner goes it in first round

Nice job Pops!

No, the last thing I wanted to do was race Eric. Suppose the unlikely happened and by some miracle I won? Yeah right! None-the-less anything is possible even taking out Eric in the first round -- the points leader. I know I would feel bad, but hey it would be nice to get my first 2009 round W under my belt. A lot of mixed emotions there. Then to everyone's surprise the unlikely did happen. I got the W by cutting a ridiculous .008 light that had more to do with luck than skill. But that's exactly what I needed to do to get a W since our ET's were almost identical. It wasn't all bad for Eric, he made to the 11.50 index semi's. Not to worry about Eric. He will most likely be back going rounds next week and I will be back sitting in the stands rooting him on.

All of us need a little luck regardless of who you are. Good job putting it on the punk.

Incredible run by both of you. Almost identical. That HAD to be fun. I raced Dave Hollingshead like that one time- we were fender to fender the whole way.
