just a quick question on Robs car, since ive been reading the article Over and Over, is he still on the Stock Right hand Output shaft while still accomplishing these launches???
according to the article the only thing done to the diff is 4.10s, Brace, and Hardend Left Hand Output shaft.

absolutely AMAZING!!! Rob youve just pushed me to order a ECS Brace and Left hand output shaft today!!! (I bought the Lingenfelter 2-step last week, and the MT ET Drags are in the garage)
Don't think axle shafts are the only thing that go when launching at 6k+. You have to be mentally prepared to spend $5k plus each time you drop that clutch, in case your rear does this:
and takes out your transmission mainshaft on the way. Mine is an 05 but my buddy's 03 did the same thing after a bunch of 1.4's, though his trans was ok. I've also had more than one buddy break the right shaft (the expensive one) though nobody in my group has broken a left shaft to my knowledge, stock or otherwise.
Note my hardened left shaft and stock right shaft are still fine! I didn't re-use them though.
My point is you never know what's going to go when you launch like this. Just be prepared to pay and not cry when it does.

We've been lucky for a while now.
The only real damage was the axle that tommy changed in 15 minutes at the track.
And that axle was previuosly damaged so we weren't surprised.
