Thanks John and everyone else. From what I read, You finished the 2008 season in 2nd place. BUT, You will need to wait till Tuesday for the final count from the track.
1. Rob Farley 495
2. John Panuzzo 284
3. Paul Bogdan 282
4. Shawn Cavanagh 231
5. David Tortolani 211
It was not easy to race everyone. I know that everyone was looking to hand me my A$$ and collect on the bounty. I just had to be stronger and hit the tree and tune for a tight race. I know next year will be more of a Challenge as it is every year in this series. I feel that 2008 was a year to get our feet wet and test the waters. Now we know what we all have to offer and next year will bring more competition and the aggressive determination from the racers.

That is funny. I started the day off running 58%, After the 1st time shot I changed it to 60.5%. For 2nd round of the 11.50 I went back to 58%.
The 58% was enough to take out Shawn on a 11.50 (7.40) grudge match. I ran 7.402 to his 7.359. I hit the tree with a .015 to his .021. He was also looking to hand me my A$$.
After I made my final round pass, I drove back into the staging lanes and drove up to the starting line. No cool down, no tire pressure check - nothing. Just ran it out the back door.
I knew if I left at 2,200 rpm's I would have ran a 7.43, leaving at 2,300 would have been a 7.42, but leaving at 2,400 (ON KILL) would have me run a 7.41 or a 7.40.
Thanks for the $$$$ Shawn. It went towards my daughters birthday party.
