This thread is to see who is going and when?
I am leaving Very early Wed. and should arrive in time for the party on Thurs. Also there is a time zone change which helps a little.

My plan is to leave Wednesday morning. Spend the night just outside of Knoxville. Finish the trip Thursday. Hit the party..wins some goods, eat some bbq, drink some beer.

I've been planning on going (as a spectator) since not long after I got back from last year's event in October 2007.
I booked my rooms in February/March 2008.
As of right now I'm not going due to some other unforseen circumstances.
Rob, I will call Plantation Oaks this week to get a room put in your name.

I am going to do some some sight seeing while I am in the area. 
I have the same plans as you Edgar. I want to stop as soon as I hit the TN border.

I'm leaving Knoxville late on Wednesday night and driving to somewhere around the Nashville area. I will arrive in Memphis about noon on Thursday. I'm also staying at Plantation Oaks so I will see you guys there.

Edgar, I will not be bringing my car this year 
I don't think I would pass NHRA tech the way it sits anyway. I will try very hard for next year though.
I would probably run it in the 11.00 class. It will run faster, but that would probably be the best class for it. I am looking forward to checking this race out first hand and meeting some of you though. I will try to be at the Party on Thurs.

LSX Shootout
We are leaving Atlanta to arrive in time for the party at Plantation Oakes. Edgar looks like we're going to run the LSX shootout. We can't get an update on points for Open Comp so we're going to bag it. The 1st event for PINKS ALL OUT is at Montgomery Motorsports Park in Alabama on November 14th and 15th. We've got us plus 2 other local Corvettes in. Can't be on the show twice but we're taking the red car for some runs and hoping to get one of the other 2 cars in. Look forward to seein y'all there.
