Results and pics from Horsepower Sales Challenge at Moroso
Finally a rain free Saturday night! A great night of racing and some very interesting storylines played out in the pits. 16 Vettes participated and another 5 or so were out spectating. The Mustangs, Trucks and Mopars also had strong numbers tonight. Alan's car was a whisper away from the 10 second slip, Mark's Z06 finally was hitting the 11's and with some hookup he will be one to contend with, Robert's new setup was strong as he ran in the mid elevens and several new racers joined us for a taste of Challenge fun. The event winner was Neil Ramirez, runner up was John Peters and Jeff Brohman and Jeremy Preston (in Roger's Darth Vader Special) took the semi finalists positions. Thanks to Dino, Jeremy and the gang for the assistance they gave 'ol 1 window in the pits - and yes I have a new motor on order for next weekend. What was up with that bra on that Z06? I thought I hated the tube top mod, but that tops it. Hey, I guess he's racing it instead of waxing it so that's good.
