Default Cant Blamed Ralph or Dennis for This One

I was at Maple Grove this weekend.. good racing Fri & Sat.. I got to the track today, & it looked bad from the get go... after 1st round of TF it started to rain & they stopped it..

I told Doug... "I'm Outta Here" I ain't gonna wait all day in the rain.. and left the track at 12:00 noon..

I am home now taking my "Meds" and feel good, as for the races... well here is the forecast.. Oh BTW Ralph and Dennis were NOT at the race so that can't be blamed

Detailed Local ForecastHow to Read This
Tonight: Thunderstorms this evening, then cloudy with rain likely overnight...perhaps a rumble of thunder. Low 58F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Locally heavier rainfall possible.

Tomorrow: Showers and thundershowers in the morning will give way to a steadier rain in the afternoon - a rumble of thunder still possible. High 66F. Winds NE at 5 to 10 mph. Rainfall may reach one inch. Locally heavier rainfall possible.

Tomorrow night: Showers and thundershowers in the evening, then cloudy with rain likely overnight...perhaps a rumble of thunder. Low 62F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall possibly over one inch.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms. High 72F. Winds ENE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

Wednesday: Slight chance of a thunderstorm. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the upper 60s.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, chance of a thunderstorm. Highs in the low 80s and lows in the upper 60s.

Maybe they'll finish next weekend...

JP,

Looks like NHRA rescheduled the finals for tomorrow morning at 10AM. All I can tell you is the weather forecast does not look good for tomorrow.

..... 'somehow', word is circulating on other-Forums that the race might possibly be rescheduled in NOVEMBER.....

When NHRA gave 'da Grove the Keystones in '85, they allowed Mike Lewis & Company to pick which of the available weekends they wanted, and after consulting with the Farmer's Almanac, they decided that 2 weeks after Labor Day had traditionally been the driest week in Eastern Taxylvania:
so-much for traditions.
