Horsepower Sales Corvette Challenge this Saturday 8/18!!
Alright guys lets hope we can get a rain free Saturday night of racing in this week. There are a lot of new setups out there needing some quarter mile evaluation . This will be a non points event so racing will be for trophys and bragging rights only. Hope to see you all at the track!
Won't be there on Saturday...I'll be stripping down my Z06 and putting it back to factory (as close as possible) tomorrow. I traded it in on a Charger Daytona R/T. I will be picking up my new car tomorrow evening. Once I have it broken in, I may be out to run with the Mopar guys/gals, so I will still get to hang out with all of you from time to time, unless you don't let me. Its going to be sad to see the Z06 go, but with adopting a child, I had to succumb to having a 4 door car. At least the Charger has some style. And some balls...350hp 5.7L Hemi under the hood. Not quite as quick as the Z06, but it will do the trick. Once I have the parts out of my Z06, I'll let you all know, so if you need/want something that I might be taking out, let me know. I know I will have a pair of drag slicks mounted on chrome Z06 rims, as well as a harness bar with belts and a pair of Corbeau A4 Leather seats (with tracks). Stereo is coming out of the Z06 as well. Most likely will use a lot of it in my Monte Carlo SS project I have going. None of it will be going into the Charger...came with a nice stereo to start. I'll mess around with it later. I will miss the cruises. Who knows, maybe Stephanie and I will tag along at the very end to hang out with all of you and still drool over everyone else's Corvettes! Thanks for everything!!!!!

Good luck with the Charger, I toyed with one of those on the highway a few weeks back. It was a pretty even match for my C4, I couldn't catch him, but he wasn't pulling away either. Nice ride...
And if Chuckster is reading this... looks like high 80's, feels like high 90's, and a 30% chance of rain. Nice 15 mph wind should keep us cool tonight though.
I'm not putting the drag tires on just yet, but I'll get the car cleaned up. See how the weather pattern looks this afternoon.

Yeah, looks like it... nice and hot and muggy now, lots of sunshine. Hopefully with this weather I can still break into the 13's
