Qualifying for NSCA Cecil June 23

4 Corvettes in 2 mixed index classes at NSCA this weekend.

Bill Wilson and I are in American Muscle (.500 full tree)

Eddie Plybon and Giles Cannon (not sure either are on the forum but Eddie is a regular in the series) are in Street Machine (.500 pro tree).

JP, read carefully, I entered the full tree class.

Bill and Eddie went red first round.

I got by with a nice package, .015 and .04 over slight brake tap.

Round 2 it bumped the rev limiter and I had to get out and gave my opponent an easy win.

Sucks to lose!!!

We fun anyway.

I am amazed the car is running 10.52 in 2000 feet DA.

Edgar and I had a great time at Cecil but missed seeing other Corvetters joining in on the fun. Edgar's Vette continued to impress people as even the announcers spent nearly a minute talking about the way his Corveete would leap off the line - and this discussion was after his second run that he lost after hitting the rev-limiter on the 2nd to 3rd shift! There were alot of real neat cars at the event and you needed to be "fully on your game" to advance.
