We're bringin both cars. My wife is definitely going to and I might. I dont have room for my DR's so I cant be consistent but I can still have some fun......
I went two years ago with my street tires and 5000 stall converter.
Now that was chore to get consistent. My stargegy was to make it spin the same way everytime...LOL
I have not decided if I will make this year's event
i know I'll just be spinning but I miss racing........plus the weather is so much better there.......I had my best trap speed ever there..........i know I wont get the 12 second slip thats knockin on my door but I can at least have some fun
planning on racing at the Cruise In but I'm not sure which car I'll have up there.. Might bring the C6 Vert this year. The traction at Beech Bend usually sucks (unless there's a big event) and I won't trailer the '68 that far just to spin all the way down the track..
I went sideways at the 1/8 mile this year.. Looks like they are only spraying the first 60' or so and only once...

I agree there, the only way i will even think of bringing the 68 up there is if they do a full track prep. Dallas I hope you are reading this.

If they agree to spray each side at least twice (the whole 1320 with pure VHT or similar and not watered down stuff), I'll bring the fast car! (that's what the Bradenton and South Georgia Motorsports Park do EVERY SINGLE TEST & TUNE. Bradenton even does touch ups between street and slick tire cars)
This year, it was ok (but not perfect) on my first pass but then it was like an ice rink... I know that they can get it right. Last year, when we raced our event during the big event that was going on there, the track was very sticky... so I know that they can get it sticky if they want to!!!
P.S.. I would be willing to pay more for the racing as long as we would get adequate track prepping!

As much as they charge the track should be prepped like it is on race day.

If you guys are running the program we'll bring both MTI Development Vehicles. We attended the Z06 Fest which I believe you were scheduled to run but didn't. We won't do that again. We look forward to seeing you in May and will push the event at MTI and attempt to bring some customers.
