Ask Jeff Creech - he took it serious and won.
That's betting high, tens of thousands of dollars in a best 3 of 5 contest is strong.
My occupation affords me the opportunity to watch a lot of high stakes gambling in the world of pocket billiards, much of it by world class players, and it doesn't often get that high on such a short contest.
Pinks needs to have a way to match the cars closer, the quickest car always has the nuts because they won't give big spots.

8 cars lengths in the 1/4 equals about a second and it's hard to get that kind of handicap on the show, many cars are a second + quicker than their opponent.

The amount of ill prepardedness amazes me, stupid stuff - run out of nitrous, fluid leaks, etc.

Maybe Jeff will pop into this thread give us insight as to how well they prepared the car, they were not going to lose.
The best part of the story takes place a few weeks after the race, but Jeff will have to tell it.
