Default Drag tire suggestions please.

Hi everyone.
I am currently running 28" M/T ET Streets at the drag strip on my street legal 76 vette.
I have a 434 SBC on the juice, 9" four-link in back.
I went to the track only twice this year and have gone 10.10 at 138mph
but was spinning my tires on the launch even with just foot braking my 200-4R tranny.
I tried various tire pressures and rpm launches but with little success.
I'm wondering if there is a better tire I should consider?
I drive my car to the track on radial street tires and then swap on the M/T ET Streets to race.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I run a ET Street 28 x 13.5 - 15 on my '68 and I've gotten 1.46 60' times with it... They are street legal and with enough air in them, they don't even handle that bad.. Well, you don't want to get into rain with them

My 60' times are in the 1.4's the ET Streets are 28"x13.5" and are not new.
Track conditions were fair - good.
I have not tired an all-out slick.
Are they better?
Which brand?
