There will be a fun get together of Corvette enthusiast at Orlando SpeedWorld in East Orlando on Friday October the 6th from 6-10 p.m. You can just hang out and shoot the breeze, eat some free food (we will have a BBQ) and drinks and show off your Vette. Since we will be at the track, if you qualify you can race your Vette (or just armachair race). There will discussions on planning for future Vette races & cruise nights. We will also be discussing how to improve your Corvettes performance as well as how to get started drag racing. If you plan on racing, make to sure to either wear or bring pants and a long sleeved shirt. If you have one, bring a helmet. If not, some others will have helmet's that can be shared.

Hope to see you. I'd love to see you run that blue beast! I may just have a different ride there that day!!!!
I might arrive pretty late. I get off work at 4 PM, drive 1 hour to get home and then it'll take 2.5 hours to the track.. so I'll probably be there by 7:30 - 8 PM..

I will make every-effort to attend this event, but given my luck with motor-vehicles lately (see "quick update from Revxtreme Corvette Challenge" in this section of the Forum..... ), I don't know if I'll bring my '82 Corvette, my '91 K1500, my daily-driver '93 Dodge Dynasty, a rent-a-car, or a horse-and-buggy.....

I'll be there but I'll bring the C6 instead of the C3.. I just don't like the thought of driving through Friday afternoon traffic with truck and trailer

Hey, that's all right. I don't blame you. At least you can make it, even if you are bringing the lesser of your cars!

Welcome to my world Olivier...for the past 4 years every time I raced at BMP or Lakleand I had to fight the Orlando traffic both ways... ...
Looks like I will see y'all tonight at OSW....might be a bit of a short visit but it will be good to get out and see everyone...
I wish I had seen this post earlier.Looks like I miss another chance to get together with the vett guy's.
I left Speed World behind on the 3rd to go to LA.
Maybe next year.
