I am not sand bagging. I have slowed the car down to run the number. Joe is lifting at either the 1,000 foot or the 330. I try to run it out the back door every pass.
Hey Killer, you're welcome to use my car if you want to run the bottom of the index. I already have a throttle stop that should get ya there. Just come get it.

That's a no-no in street. I would hate to see a CC racer become a div 1 champ then have it taken away when they tech the car at the end of the race. Also the winner gets to go West for the National race but the cutoff in street is 13.0.
Rob, Good luck this weekend.
Watch for deep stagers. MG doesn't hold the tree for deep. 2 prestage lights and a staged will activate the 10 second autostart. Don't be considerate for a deep stager. Do you own thing and come up the the line.
Watch for the different wind directions. Be sure to check the flag on the tower and the WIND SOX on the right top end of the track. Once you break past the stands (1/8 mile) the wind will pickup and blow in a different direction from the starting line.
Before sunset the wind will start bringing the air down off the mountains. You may slow .03 or .04 all of a sudden. The next round you will pick it back up. Watch for a lot of cars suddenly not making their dials.
Roll out at MG is the same as RP. Stage like your home.
Track is ususlly very good and the officials really keep an eye out for junk (broken parts) on the track.

Ralph, I think I will race my car and make the best of it. I have been working on the car since 4pm. It is now 9:30pm. I still have more work to do tomm. So far I am on schedule to leave Wed. There are two things I need to do - As I always do. Dial tight and hit the tree.
Kazman, I ran my Mustang there in a Pro Tree class last year. I was hittingt he tree the same there as I was here. On a .500 Pro Tree I was qualifying #1 or #2 with .017 to .030 on the Pro Tree. When I was runniing the Vette for some other events I was also able to hit the tree. Bottom line line is to be able to dial the car. I will do my job as long as the car can run the number. I was over at ECS last week to go over the program (Fine Tune) and to check everything out. The car came out with a clean bill of health. I also received a price quote for the winter mods.
Edgar, I will take the pictures and take notes.
Ellis, The C6 is going to be a ME TOO CAR. Everyone is going to have one by the middle of next summer. I want to be different - not just blending in.
