Question for all!!!please read and POST!!!!
ok, so me and my dad have been racing our 98 red vette since 99. we have alot of time and energy put into it. most recently we went to the drag strip and ran a 10.61ET at 124.?? with a 0-60ft time of 1.399. WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW IS....what is the fastest N/A, stock bore, c-5 that any one has seen. we want to know if ours is it(cuz that would rock). ALSO if anyone is close to that we would love to talk to you about how you got there, 3 heads are better than 2. we have been blessed to get MTI motorsports to back us up. THANK YOU FOR HELPING US IN ADVANCE

stock bore means the piston holes are not wider or "bored out"
EX. 1.(-)stock 2.(--)bore
when you stroke a motor you change how far the pistons move up and down

I'm curious. There has been alot said on this board about not going with more than a 3:73 or 3:90 gear in an A4, because you might run out of cam in the traps. I notice you're running a 4:10 gear with an A4...are you still pulling in third as you cross the finish line???
Also, what TC are you running?
Thx...great numbers!!!

Nice 60'. I know Brent and Rob, two guys who both have Cartek H&C Z06's with stock 346 motors have gone 10.5's@130+ (N/A)...with 6 speeds. So I'd say they both have you beat...for now.

Bob,
I had a whole lot of yard work to do (started at 7:00 this morning) and then will be heading up to a party in CT in a couple of hours. Besides, the car is down for now But it will be going in for some major surgery very shortly.

Nice going, I knew those tires were gonna hook.(racemaster). I had purchased them about 6 months ago and had custom rims made for them to fit perfectly. I never mounted them because it seemed like they were too much tire and sold them. Would definitely like to try them after seeing your results. Congrats again!

YEA! 1.39 (my heart stoped for a sec. she took off on that run).
yes we do attribute the 0-60ft times to the tires. we did turn the rims inside the tires thow so it lookes like that set up needs bolts in the tire/tire to stop that but besides that they have been awsome..
