This was a good day, I won the burnout contest and the eliminator.

I remember those days Mojo. 2001 was a great year for me too. I won the Corvette Challenge Championship, finished second in points in Real Street and went to the Division 1 Finals in Delmar, De. representing Team Raceway Park.

2001 was an awesome year for me too. Hanging out at E-Town every weekend, owning a nice clean stock Vette, taking out all the legends in one day, winning a Challenge, winning Vette Magazine Day, 2nd place in the Show n' Go, placing 2nd to Turbo Bob overall. Those were the good old days.

I hope everybody is doing well, hope to see you again at the track eventually.

I had to sell the car, used a few too many credit cards trying to keep up with Brent and Piggy at the track. Plus I recently got married and bought a townhouse, so the racing hobby had to be put on hold for awhile. I still think about it all the time though, so as soon as finances allow, I'll be back. But I'm done with the crazy mods, just a clean bolt-on Vette (probably a C5 Z) and weekend bracket racing for me next time. Within 2-years is my goal, so watch out for my name on the Corvette Challenge sign up list in a couple years.
