C6, there are no DRs for the 19' rears, what to do?
I'm new to this, I'm interested in running DRs all summer long. I heard that the Nittos will do what I'm looking for, Highway (100+ my norm) and Track. I had an idea of buying C6 wheel 18's that go in the front, and put them in the rear to keep the car looking original. My C6 wheels are the comp grey.
Here are my questions,
Do they make 19" DRs?
Will the front size rims mounted in the rear w/DRs will do?

The fronts will work but are just too narrow (8.5") to properly accommodate almost all of the available 18" sizes.
I have the comp grey rims as well and have been looking on ebay for a set of 18x10 replca/aftermarket versions but can only find 'em in silver.

Dave,
Why not let Ed try your tires out. This way, someone might get a chance to see how they hook when launched above 2500 rpm.

Makes me wonder if my car had a 10 second pass in it....we'll never know. It ran 11.3 with a 1.77 sixty, it would have been close.
Will you be watching or driving?

I better go out and try it now, I'll be right back........

17 inch C5 Z06 front rims with ET Streets do fit the rear of a C6, I just tried one on.

Maybe with the new Z out someone will come out with a great 19" tire for traction.
