You Pro 10.0 guys are in trouble - I can run a 10.0!
Just got back from Atco. Great day! Edgar, P. Major, LOW ETs crew, kaz, and the Vette Doctors were in attendance. My objective was to get my car to run a 10.0 under WOT.
It took 3 runs before I finally ran a 10.04. It seemed impossible to slow this car down. On minimal boost I ran 9.7, 9.5, 9.5, and 9.8. Then I changed the shift point to 4800 rpm and that did the trick. Car ran a 10.04. Then I ran another pass and clicked off a 10.13 short shifting a little earlier.
The .500 Pro tree was tricky and I knew it'd be tough for me to slow down from a .400 pro tree. I red lighted -.019 and -.030 on the first two passes, then cut a .221 and a .263 (way late), and finished with .120 and .111. So I'm getting there with the r/t.
Paul Major clicked off an 11.01 in his Z06 Amazing time!
Today was a blast. In the afternoon the temps climbed into upper 40s but the wind was pretty stiff. It was good to see the guys again.

Looks as if you have a shot but I dont think you will be happy in this class...too many things for you to worry about with that power. I guess major has you re-thinking your next move...wow has he gotten to you...

Paul, glad you had a good day. Anyhoo, looks like you found the range for the 10.0 index. Should be an interesting year. Hopefully, stage one (of mods) will be done on my car by months end. Now, I just need a trailer.

Paul Major will be lucky if he lines up against me before 2008 It's not like you can build, tune and dial-in a car in 2 months. It's a lot of work.
BTW, Atco looks great. Track is smooth and the concrete walls look great. No more ruts in the burnout box

I'll be practicing that after the 18th with no transbrake to find the shift point.

The funniest part was when one of the bikers came over to my car and goes "What the f**k is wrong with your car? Don't it run 8s?"

Nope. My goal was to dial the car in for 10s. I was on old tires and didn't feel like mounting the chute. Also, the car is out of alignment so I didn't want to push it.

Thanks, guys. I will spend more time dialing the car in this Saturday at the non-points CC. If I can get her to be consistent, everything else will fall into place also.
The Pro 10.0 is run on a .500 tree. Pro 8 is a .400 tree.
